SMART

March 9th, 2020

When we set goals, it's important that they be clear and meaningful. SMART is a tool that we can use to ensure that the goals we set are useful tools in helping us achieve them.

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Achievable
  • Relevant
  • Time Bound

Specific

The goal is clear and unambiguous

Measureable

Making your goal measurable means you'll be able to tell when it's achieved, and you can track your progress against it.

Achievable

Set ambitious goals, but don't set impossible goals.

Relevant

Our attention is limited, so let's not waste time setting goals that do not directly contribute to what we want to achieve.

Time Bound

Set a time frame for your goal.
